Meet the all-new Propero 4 helmet - it combines the aerodynamic advantages of the S-Works Evade 3 with the ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, offering the comfort and confidence that Specialized helmets are known for. Every detail of the Propero 4 is designed with the speed equation in mind: aerodynamics + ventilation + light weight = fast.
AERODYNAMICS: Aerodynamics were at the forefront of Propero 4's development, being thoroughly tested using CFD methods and in the Win tunnel. The aerodynamic leading edge of the S-Works Evade 3 was taken as a base and directly incorporated into the Propero 4, helping it be four watts or 15 seconds faster over a 40 km distance than the S-Works Prevail 3.
VENTILATION: In the quest to create a balanced, aerodynamic, and ventilated helmet, ventilation was central. The rear design of the S-Works Prevail 3 served as an inspiration, utilizing small 2 mm staggered microchannels that create airflow turbulence throughout the helmet, providing a continuous and refreshing airflow.
The helmet is available in sizes S, M, and L.
