Introducing the brand new Propero 4 helmet - it combines the aerodynamic advantages of the S-Works Evade 3 with the ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3, offering the comfort and confidence that Specialized helmets are famous for. Every detail of the Propero 4 is designed with speed in mind: aerodynamics + ventilation + lightweight = fast.
AERODYNAMICS: Aerodynamics were at the forefront of developing the Propero 4, thoroughly tested using CFD methods and in the Win tunnel. The aerodynamic leading edge of the S-Works Evade 3 was taken as a basis and directly integrated into the Propero 4, allowing it to be four watts or 15 seconds faster over 40 km than the S-Works Prevail 3.
VENTILATION: The focus was on ventilation in efforts to create a balanced, aerodynamic, and ventilated helmet. The design of the S-Works Prevail 3's rear section was used as inspiration, employing small 2 mm offset microchannels that create turbulence in the airflow throughout the entire helmet, leading to a continuous and refreshing air flow.
The helmet is available in sizes S, M, and L.
