New tyres vol 2: gravel
(Sulev): as you know, this spring Specialized completely renewed its so-called “performace orientated” tyre range. Last time we were talking about XCO tyres, this time it's gravel.
NB - the names are familiar on all three tyres, but the content is new on all three.
PATHFINDER TLR - the priorities are hard racing, speed, lightest weight. The tyre is made up of two different materials, the well rolling Gripton T2 in the middle and the more durable Gripton T5 in the sidewalls.
The tyre is super rolling and available in three different sizes:
700x35, 380g
700x40, 470g
700x45, 520g
TRACER TLR - Versatility, control, speed and durability come first. Racing tyre 100%. This tyre is made up of a single component T5 compound and is available in three different sizes:
700x40, 460g
700x45, 530g
700x50, 550g
TERRA TLR - the main advantages of this tyre are challenging gravel conditions, single track, maximum puncture resistance. It is therefore also suitable for adventure driving. The tyre consists of a single component T5 compound and is available in two variants:
700x45, 500g
700x50, 560g
