VO2 Explorer presents: The Majestics 2026
The Majestics is a multi-day cycling event in the Swiss Alps in Villars-sur-Ollon, combining road, gravel, and time trial formats. A UCI-level competition, high-alpine climbs, and technical routes create an international top-tier racing experience. The majestic mountain landscape and professional organization make it a true challenge for both ambitious amateurs and experienced competitors.
Routes and Riding Conditions
The Majestics welcomes riders of different levels, offering diverse and technical mountain routes. The road courses take participants onto long and demanding Alpine climbs, where endurance, pacing strategy, and descending skills are key. There are two distances to choose from: 150km (3800 meters of elevation gain) and 97km (2600 meters of elevation gain).
The gravel routes run along mountain roads, gravel tracks, and forest paths, offering varied terrain and breathtaking views of the Rhône Valley and the surrounding peaks. Riders can choose between two distances: 100km (2500 meters of elevation gain) and 70km (2070 meters of elevation gain). The VO2 Explorer team is happy to help participants select the most suitable distance and provide guidance for preparation.
