REPUBLIC OF ESTONIA 96 – LET'S GO!
On February 24, 2014, we gathered to celebrate the Republic's birthday. We cycled 96+ kilometers in both Tallinn and Tartu. We stopped at the Jõelähtme church, at the War of Independence monument, ate cake, and took pictures. The ride was not easy, as we were buffeted by crosswinds most of the way. But we made it to the end without leaving anyone behind. Kati Taal and Karin Kriis were particularly impressive, staying with the group right to the end. Thank you to everyone who came! I couldn't imagine a more beautiful Independence Day! Happy 96th birthday to the Republic of Estonia!
